Do not delete any of the atoms or bonds in the template


Draw trans-1-bromo-2-isopropylcyclohexane in the conformation from which it is most likely to undergo E2 elimination. Follow this procedure:

Select the correct chair cyclohexane conformer from the toolbar and click once on the canvas.

Select "Structure>Add>Add Explicit Hydrogens" to create the axial and equatorial positions on the chair cyclohexane.

Add your groups by replacing the appropriate hydrogens (select the atom you wish to add and click on the hydrogen atom).

Do not delete any of the atoms or bonds in the template with the Erase button, and do not move atoms or groups directly attached to the ring by dragging them.
