There have been many extreme weather issues in the news in the past few years, from extreme drought in California to Super Storm Sandy on the east coast and record heat in the American southwest. The science is real and it points to changing temperatures as the cause of many of these extreme weather events.
Do a little internet research on climate change, then answer these questions for your discussion:
1. What large scale changes can be implemented nationally or globally to reverse the effects of climate change?
2. Is there anything that YOU can do to contribute to reversing climate change?
3. What are some climate issues that are affecting your immediate area?
