Divergence develops within "societies as the diversity of cultural experiences accessible to people increases and they make different choices".
(Chirico, 2014) Some examples are the genres of music, dance, film and other artistic mediums are vehicles for moving local culture.
Olympic spectacles are a good example, this is because using dance and music from local cultural fields. Another example would be money.
Money is considered a universal form because other countries recognize one another's currency. Convergence masks divergence.
