Workers Compensation
Purpose: To familiarize the student with using the World Wide Web as a source for problem resolution and to distinguish between credible versus non-credible source material. Read Section 1.6 of your text p. 6-8. Then, talk to someone or use your own personal experience and state a myth that you believed or that someone you know believes (not one that is already covered in the text) regarding workers' compensation. Search the web to find a credible source of information that supports or refutes the myth.
Your myth statement and validating/invalidating data should be typed prior to submission. It should be 12 pt. font, double-spaced and no more than one pace with your name, date, and class in the upper right-hand comer of the paper. Cite your sources and provide URLs where appropriate.
