Teachers not experiencing the support of the principal, a meaningful work assignment, a positive school climate, support from colleagues and rewards to recognize their work are likely to look elsewhere to teach.

This study donates to the research pertaining to teacher retention and mobility. The findings of this study are envisioned to aid principals in better understanding how they can address as well as impact change in the organization they lead in order to improve the level of teacher retention in their building.
