You can only submit one file, so the graphs need to be in the same file as the text. You can create any graphs electronically or draw them by hand and scan them in. I have found GraphSketcher for Mac to be a quick and easy way to create nice looking graphs on my Mac products; I am not sure if similar software exists for windows computers.
