Before you begin the discussion activity, be sure you have completed the readings. To practice your knowledge, check out the activity on page 3 of this section to drag and drop appropriate terms to the correct place.
Discussion responses should be on topic, original, and contribute to the quality of the discussion by making frequent informed references to course materials. Initial discussion responses should be around 100 words. Responses to your classmates or instructor should be around 50 words.
As you discuss the topics this week, please be sure to answer the following questions for both topics in your initial response. Include information about whether these are federal or state programs.
