The Topic is:
Though I have taken previous courses that consist of leadership and ethics and all its various forms, I find myself intrigued more and more to utilize more ways of becoming not only a better leader in business, but a better person in general. Yes, we are all flawed, and that is important; our flaws make us stand apart from the next person. But we can learn and find ways to do good things for society and for the world, as well. I do not take what I have learned from this course as just material to help me be a good leader for a company, it is also here to help me grow as an individual. And I truly hope that what all of you have acquired from this course has helped you grow and is helping you figure yourself, too. In a sense, it is almost like a self-discovery class.
And just like with this course and all that I have learned, I got the opportunity to discuss three major leaders (President Obama, Martin Luther King Jr. and Gandhi) that have impacted me in a way, too. I am not sure about everyone else here, but this assignment was not just an assignment where we came up with three people and wrote about them, in hopes of getting a half way decent grade. You have to admit, the individuals we chose to write about have influenced us. I know the three I chose did. And it does not matter if they are in politics, if they are painters, musicians, actors, or humanitarians. They can also be a friend, a family member, or a stranger you strike up a conversation with; they could share something so profound and it can affect you in such a way that is indescribable. Like the leaders before us, we are the future and we can make a difference, as well. No matter how big or small the difference, we can make it happen. We can create a better tomorrow, we just have to try.

Hello Joe,
It sure has been an amazing experience researching and writing this paper. The things we have learned about the impacts leaders have on staff is amazing and makes the difference between success or failure. Learning about the variety of leadership styles has opened my eyes to the different leaders I have experienced over the course of my life both in school and in work. I gained an understanding as to why some leaders could motivate me and why some made my life miserable. The role of the leader is so essential to the over success of a department and team, the leaders I have selected have different styles and I can now see the different impacts on the employees and the company. During this course I have also learned about myself and have reflected on own leadership style.
