Problem: Explain this question
A 50 year old patient by the name of Kale Newton is brought into the Emergency department with several injuries to there spinal cord. The nurse gets report from the paramedics and they state that they patient appeared to be in a MVA. The paramedics did note they did stabilize the C- Spine. Nurse does a brief assessment and noticed they were using accessory muscles, pupils were dilated along with cool skin to touch. The patient has a hx of a recent SCI from his previous job. They obtain a Xray and noticed the patient has damages to C2, C5, T1. Vitals was obtained and the patient has systolic BP was less than 90. Patient appeared to have wide spread vasodilatioen with some warm flushed skin. The patient also presented with bradycardia.
