Assignment task: You have started an internship with a well-known law firm that works in the area of law that you have always dreamed of getting into. You are excited but have no idea what to expect and are therefore naturally a little anxious. The first few days you spend getting situated to the new people and systems and then to your surprise, they give you your first file. You open the file and it is an intake form with all of the details of the client and of the matter. It is a tribunal matter. You are a little intimidated but excited and want to impress.
You know you could ask for guidance but want to "own it" so you think back to your PRLG 5304 class and grab a piece of paper to start listing out what you need to do to prepare and ensure competency.
