Assignment task: I have chosen to read the book "Invisible Wounds of War: Psychological and Cognitive Injuries, Their Consequences, and Services to Assist Recovery" by Terri Tanielian and Lisa H. Jaycox. I hope to learn about the psychological effects of war on veterans and the different services available to them. I also hope to visit a VA hospital in Oakland or Aspinwall on Oct 5th at 11AM to learn about the different services available to homeless veterans suffering from PTSD.
