EABO (Expeditionary Advanced Base Operations) makes assumptions about future challenges, technology, and what is required to best support the needs of national security. There are tradeoffs that the USMC must make in order to have enough resources to support EABOs. They must make the choices we discussed in Module 7 about buying more existing stuff, buying new stuff, and/or researching new things to buy in the future.
