Discussion about career counseling and career development


Problem:

Can you please help me with a project that I am conducting as a school counselor in an elementary school? Please help me identify each assessment that I should use and give a brief description of each assessment, and to implement those various assessments and activities, interpreting results, and develop a personalized action plan for my student? I need help with the interview and summarizing and analyzing the sessions where I interview my student for at least three counseling sessions regarding his career-related background, current realities, and ambitions.  In the first session, rapport was established, and preliminary exploration of my student's family background, interests, and initial thoughts about work and school was conducted.  In the subsequent sessions, I want to focus on implementing various assessments and activities, interpreting results collaboratively with my student, and gradually developing a personalized action plan.   Please write in narrative format and include in-text citations with URLs.  Among the in-text citations, please use the citations from Brown's book (Career Information, Career Counseling and Career Development, Edition 11th by Duane Brown, Published by Pearson Lifetime eBooks in 2016), but also use also other different various citations from other sources as well. Here is a brief description of the demographic background of my student, his strengths, and more: "My student is an 11-year-old fifth-grade student who immigrated to the United States from Haiti four years ago.  He is fluent in Haitian Creole and is developing his English proficiency through the school's ESOL program. He comes from a close-knit family and has adjusted well to his new school environment. Through initial conversations, he has demonstrated strong resilience, a positive attitude, and curiosity about science and sports. He enjoys hands-on activities and is willing to help his classmates. His ability to adapt to new settings and his bilingual skills are notable assets."
