Problem: The second policy lab is focused on 21st Century Cures Act: Interoperability, Information Blocking, and the ONC Health IT Certification Program
1. Identify any one aspect or area of interest within the Cures Act and develop a research summary addressing the relevance, past and present status, challenges, and your own opinions and perspectives related to the selected aspect or area of interest within the Cures act.
2. Example areas of interest: a particular clause within the act; particular topics such as pediatric EHR interoperability or open notes; general or policy-related question that you would like explore.
3. While most informatics-based topics or questions related to Cures act are acceptable, the summary should not be a high-level overview of the act itself or an overview of ONC's Cures final rule. Instead, it should be a focused, critical analysis of a particular area within the Cures act.
