A 2-page typed dialogue (in the style of a film screenplay) in which you imagine David Bartholomae, Dax Garcia, Tom Nichols, and yourself sitting down together (at a restaurant? a bar? somewhere else?) and discussing the broader implications of writing with an authoritative voice.
Staying true to their views as expressed in the readings, create what they might say to one another and what you would say during the conversation.
This is a very useful exercise for what will come next week, so please take the content seriously, but also feel free to be creative, clever, funny, poignant, or however you are moved as you create the conversation! Make it interesting for yourself.
