Overview: For this assignment, you will submit a brief, 2-page paper discussing policy reform in the United States. Currently, the U.S. constitution limits whether and how government agencies or actors can conduct sweeping policy reforms.
Specifically, the following critical element must be addressed:
Restrictions: Identify some examples of how the U.S. government is restricted from adopting sweeping policy reform to address an identified public health issue.
Pros and Cons: Explain at least one pro and one con of that restriction.
Alternative: Conclude by proposing an alternative way to solve the public health issue. Be sure your proposal considers population health improvement.
Guidelines for Submission: The short paper should follow these formatting guidelines: at least 2 pages in length in MS Word format, double spaced, with 12-point Times New Roman font, one-inch margins, and at least 3 citations in APA style.
