The topic of the week is Technology & Policing. We have already discussed police body worn cameras, and the benefits of having such a program, but I am more interested in new technologies and their use in law enforcement. Aerial drones have been in use for quite some time in military applications. Amazon is currently experimenting with drones for package deliveries. Police departments have begun eyeing drones as a replacement for expensive and aging helicopters.
