Wardriving is a technique used by both ethical hackers and blackhat hackers. The ethical hackers us it to test networks and conduct penetration testing. Blackhat hackers wardrive to gain access to open, unencrypted networks.
This is a scenario that I want you to write about how you would handle the situation below.
You are out wardriving (you are an ethical hacker), and you can see many Wi-Fis not using encryption. Why do you think they are open networks? Provide a rationale as to why you SHOULD employ encryption and why perhaps you should NOT? Lastly, is it ethical to use an open network or one that is not encrypted?
