Discussion Post: President Cheney
Discuss your opinion of the tactics used by Vice President Dick Cheney in his effort to expand the power and authority of the Presidency during the Bush Administration. Do you approve or disapprove of his tactics? More importantly, I want you to discuss (regardless of Cheney's tactics) whether you agree with Cheney that the President should have unlimited war powers? Why or Why not? What powers do think the President "should" have to ensure the nation's security in the war on terrorism?
