Discuss your examination process on the tissue sample

You are a forensic toxicologist and receive tissue samples from the skeletal remains from a male. A farmer cutting down corn in the field noticed the skeleton and notified authorities. This male had been missing since September and his skeleton was found 5 months later. Scavengers had eaten away most of the tissue on his upper body; however, the lower portion was still covered with his work uniform pants. There were no signs of foul play; his wallet and all contents were found in the pocket of his pants; he was still wearing his wedding band and watch. The hynoid bone was located and was still intact. Interviews with his wife revealed that they had an argument on their way to work; both worked at a local restaurant about 200 yards from where his skeleton was recovered. The argument was in regards to a possible arson that he may have been involved in. The wife stated that he left the restaurant about an hour after they arrived and she did not see him after that. She reported him missing; however, the police had a warrant for his arrest for the arson and the missing report was not filed. He did not use illicit drugs and was not on my medication.
