Discussion: Build your own information system
Learn more about what makes an information system work. Specify a computer system at the online Apple Store or online HP Store.
Consider a scenario current or future when you might buy a new system. Research the available options at the two Stores specified. Choose a reasonable budget somewhere in the mid-range of prices you find. Based on the scenario and budget you've chosen, configure your system and related options to satisfy both your scenario and your budget.
Discuss your choice with your group.
For credit, submit:
1) (as online text) a description of: 1) the scenario you chose; 2) the budget you chose; 3) the decisions or trade-offs you made to meet your budget for your scenario
2) (as a JPEG file) a screenshot of your "shopping cart", showing your full system details including options.
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
