Discuss why concentrated hydroxylamine is dangerous

Discuss why concentrated hydroxylamine is dangerous, even in the absence of another redox active compound. The cause of this explosion was ultimately attributed to improper cleaning of the reactors and in particular to the buildup of transition metal salts. Explain why this might matter.
