Problem
A research proposal explains what you plan to research (i.e. your research topic) and why it's worth researching (i.e. your justification). The purpose of this assignment is to convince your instructor that your research is suitable for the requirements of the problem.
Ensure the following items are included in your problem:
a) Thesis Statement - one or two sentences presenting the argument of your essay
b) Examples - a few specific examples from the sources that will support your argument and how
c) Topic Importance - discuss what your essay contributes to Indigenous studies/history/archaeology
