Identify specific agencies that would be called upon to assist with preparation. Discuss steps that would be needed to prepare the community before, during, and after the disaster.

Refer to the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) website.
Review some of the legislative initiatives they have lobbied for.
Select at least two of those initiatives, and discuss whether they are in place in your state and the impact each has, or would have, if in place, on your activities.
