Discuss what you might do using the ideas

Problem

An RBT on your team shows undesired 'procedural drift' (does not do what the procedure specifies) frequently. When supervised, he is apologetic, but he does not seem to retain your supervisory comments over time. When this fact is brought up, he states that 'it really does not matter, the kid is doing fine' even though the data shows this is not the case. You find that you are getting frustrated, and the child is not making the expected progress, but since he is a relative of the owner, you know that he is 'not going anywhere'.

Discuss what you might do (using the ideas related to R+, R-, P+, P- and other ideas in this lecture to remedy this situation and make expected client outcomes more likely to occur)
