Discuss what some of the barriers might be

Discussion Post: AI and Contracts & Trespass Torts and CFAA.

Task A:

It has been said the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) contracting software has the potential to improve how all firms contract, affecting the processes by which firm's contract, by changing the tools firms use to contract, and by altering the actual content of contracts - AI is indeed beginning to have a substantial impact., and will likely be far more disruptive to the legal profession than the move in the previous century from electric typewriters to electronic word processors and word processing software.

However, this technology has not yet matured, and is not likely to until the very significant barriers facing AI usage in contract law are addressed and mitigated.

Discuss what some of these barriers might be and how an organization can go about removing them in order to embrace the many benefits of AI in contracts.

Task B:

Under today's interpretation of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA), if executives in Florida and North Carolina each pay a rival organization's unfaithful employee to copy trade secrets from the competitor's information stores, the Government can charge only one executive, but not both. These cases and many others get decided differently due to the ever-widening split over the CFAA term "without authorization," currently interpreted five separate ways.

Research the term "without authorization" as it pertains to CFAA, and, with supporting references, cite what you interpret this term to mean.

The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
