Discussion: Prenatal Development
Purpose:
1. To display thorough understanding of material presented in class and textbook
2. To demonstrate ability to accurately reflect on class material and apply critical thought
3. To demonstrate ability to apply knowledge to a topic and justify/substantiate the conclusion(s) drawn in a comprehensive, cohesive manner
Directions:
Provide a 2-3 page (minimum) written reflection for each question posed to you. Each reflection should be based primarily on personal thought/observations. Minimal reliance should be placed on citing the text. The reflection must be supported through critical thought and application within the context of the question being asked.
Suppose you are in charge of a public-health campaign to improve prenatal development in the United States. Due to funding constraints you can only focus on one factor. What factor would be the focus of your campaign? Why choose this factor instead of others? How would you structure your campaign (educational points, suggestions/interventions, etc.)?
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
