Google wants to bring internet content to your TV. Google wants to team up with Sony and Intel to provide an IPTV device that allows consumers to search for content, browse the web, view photo albums, and plan online content. Google would provide the search capabilities and other software, Intel would provide the chips, and Sony would manufacture the TVs. This is a crowded playing field with TiVo, Yahoo! Connected TV, Netflix, Roku, Apple TV, XBOX 360, Popbox and others.
