1) Explain what forms someone's public opinion about politics and then give a brief overview about how you, your family, and your environment have molded your political views today.
2) Then discuss with your peers how and why you think public opinion and public education about politics are so important to high levels of political participation.
3) List at least two of the reasons why people don't participate in politics and then discuss ways to incentivize people to participate.
4) How are political participation and public opinion so closely tied to each other? How does public opinion ultimately affect political participation?
