I think one effective strategy for transitioning from aggressive to assertive communication is to pause before responding, take a moment to manage emotions, and use "I" statements to express thoughts without placing blame. I also believe we can encourage others to communicate more assertively by leading through our own example. When we listen respectfully, stay calm, and acknowledge the other person's perspective, it creates an environment where open communication feels safe and productive.
