Choice I: Explain and critically evaluate (including at least one objection) Descartes' "argument from doubt" in support of dualism. Do you think that this argument shows that dualism is correct? Explain and discuss, supporting your answer with reasons.
Choice II: Discuss Thomas Nagel's "bat" argument. How is it a problem for materialism? Do you think that this argument shows that materialism is false, or is there a good way for the materialist to respond to the argument? Explain and discuss, supporting your answer with reasons.
