Discuss things that compensate for loss of everyday touch

Assignment Task: Jane Anderson talks about the Power of Touch and how, as humans, we need touch on a daily basis for our survival, our health, and our development.

1) Think about the past (2 years ago) when there was "social distancing" what appeared to be a "touch less" society. How do you think this affected our (or your) health and our (or your) emotional state?

2) Two years ago, simple things like a handshake or pat on the back were not part of our daily activities at that time. These used to be social norms in the past and part of many cultures. As a result, how do you think that our communities and society as a whole were affected by having to social distance, which required us to curtail (stop) these daily elements of touch?

3) Discuss at least 2 things that could possibly compensate (substitute) for the loss of everyday touch?
