The 3 dimensions of their society as an explanation for many of their decisions, based on this cultural mosaic. Ethnic groups are defined as English-French, native peoples, and those referred to by the term "visible minorities."
1. Discuss the utility of the concept "visible minorities" in the Canadian context.
2. Then, consider the extent to which this word could be meaningful in the U.S. context.
3. What changes would need to occur in order for this to be an acceptable model to follow?
4. Although they are seen as a pluralistic society, how is the assimilation type model still reflected by their approach?
5. Canada continues to have ethnic conflict, generally exhibited between the English-French Canadians.
6. With that being the case, why is their model considered to be successful?
