Assignment task: Discuss formaldehyde in terms of:
1. Sources of potential domestic, community or occupational human exposure in Australia.
2. Discuss the toxicokinetics (uptake, biotransformation, distribution and elimination) and toxicodynamics (health impacts) from exposure.
3. Discuss the Australian exposure standards for formaldehyde exposure, and related legislation under which they are managed i.e. POEO Act NEPMs, WHS Act WES, Notifiable conditions under the Public Health Act, drinking water etc.
