Assignment:
It is to be 5 to 6 pages in length and a minimum of 5 sources + a works cited page and be written in Times New Roman #12 font. MLA FORMAT!!
At least 3 of the sources should be outside sources outside of the textbook. For those of you only using one story from the textbook, at least 4 sources should come of outside of the book.
Keep in mind that every source listed on the works-cited page should have at least one quote - that makes a minimum of 5 quotes each from a separate source.
The paper must be about one or more pieces of literature we have read in this class. Once you have chosen a topic, please email me your topic of choice. However, if you are having a hard time coming up with a topic, don't hesitate to ask me for one.

Discuss the role of the imagination in "The Raven"
Discuss the use of Dark Romanticism in one or two of the stories.
A character analysis of Montresor
A character analysis of Bartleby
A discussion of how Bartleby and his "ailment" may be a representation of Melville and his life (particularly his creative life)
