Discuss the social order of the edo period in japan

Discussion:

Use the readings, (in attachment) and cite them, to discuss the social order of the Edo period in Japan. If possible, use the Chu¯shingura story as well.

Analyze and draw attention to the differences that emerged between the system as it was first envisioned and as it actually developed over the decades, the contradictions that animated it (as revealed by your sources), and the various participants' experiences and perceptions of Edo society. How was the world depicted in Chu¯shingura compatible with the one described in Musui's Story or in "Oshio Heihachiro's Manifesto"? What recurrent themes can you identify throughout the various texts? Are the differences a matter of perspective? (If so, how so?) Or are they a reflection of the different times in which the texts were written?

Response need a minimum of 1,250 words. All book titles should be in italics, and there should be a consistent citation stlye.
