QUESTION 2- A covenant is a promise between individuals to regulate behavior and relationships, and in this case it is between god and the children of Israel. God blesses these people more than another on earth, but they are to uphold Gods law more strictly that another. It was this promise that has shaped the Jewish community and their religion. The covenant that God made with the people of Israel as recorded in the Torah still has an affect on the Jews and many of them feel that Gos does not limit his love to a particular group. One covenant is an unconditional,l everlasting imparting a renewed mind and heart to the recipient, complete and final forgiveness and the removal of sins. This is also seen in communion in other religions. Also there is the Mosaic covenant that we all know also as the ten commandments. In the world we live in today they are seen throughout many religions as well. Many people fallow these laws and practice them throughout their life.
