Homework: Project Foundations
During this course, you will learn the components of a research study. Each week you will learn components of the research process through your readings and application of the knowledge gained to published research articles. At the end of the course, you will complete a review of a nursing research article utilizing all of the components of the research process.
Using the research template, identify the research components, listed on the template, as you begin to examine research studies. Review your two assigned articles and address each of the following criteria:
I. Identify and describe
i. The problem
ii. Purpose
iii. Hypothesis or research questions of each study.
II. Discuss the significance of the research to nursing practice.
III. Identify two details to support the research as qualitative or quantitative.
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
i) The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
ii) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
iii) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references must follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
