As Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) providers, we have a significant impact on the lives of children, starting with the care we provide for infants and toddlers. Research suggests that children's overall social and emotional well-being provide a strong foundation for success and enable these children to pursue positive life goals. Additionally, children with strong social and emotional capabilities experience greater academic success and decreased learning difficulties (Woods, Smith, & Copper, 2010).
We, ECEC providers, influence these infants and toddlers by building a strong social and emotional foundation for them to grow.
