Question 1. Discuss the risk of hearing loss at 90dBA, 85dBA and 80dBA. Compare your finding with the OSHA PEL and the ACGIH TLV.
Question 2. A local furniture manufacturing plant contacted you to assist with OSHA compliance matters. Describe how you would go about determining if the plant must comply with the OSHA Hearing Conservation Standard.
Question 3. You are the site safety officer at a hazardous waste site and have been asked to develop a program to prevent heat stress. The workers at the site are required to wear semi-impermeable clothing, nitrile gloves, hard hat, safety boots, and an air purifying respirator. Describe the steps you would take to control heat stress at this site.
