These are the expectations for the PowerPoint:
• Speakers Notes: Notes on each slide should be 50-75 words and cite relevant, credible reference materials. Notes should be rich in content; notes are the equivalent of the body of a paper.
• Sources: most of the content must be drawn from recent, relevant peer-reviewed articles (no more than 5-6 years old) published in top-tier research journals, rather than textbooks, popular press, editorials, web-based materials, etc.
• Discuss the research in some depth: Provide and explore data from published studies that illustrate the nature of the problem and offer analysis of the significance and policy or managerial implications.
• Some formatting tips:
- A slide should have no more than 6 lines of text - use a large font size to enhance visibility.
- The slide should just outline what will be spoken - place the detail in the speaker's notes,
- For best visibility, use a dark (black) font on a light background (white, light yellow or light blue work best).
