Introduction
Provide a formal introduction to the written paper, which provides the context of the primary topic for discussion, an overview of the case study, the objective and rationale for the paper.
Pathophysiology
Discuss the pathophysiology of the primary diagnosis whilst integrating the case study.
Discuss two (2) signs or symptoms of clinical deterioration and how the primary diagnosis contributes to the clinical manifestation of these sign/symptoms.
Clinical Care
Using the case study information develop one (1) priority problem that needs to be address in order to optimize the patients' outcome. The priority problem must be formally structured into a coherent sentence, with a rationale and justification provided based on the contemporary
research.
Identify and discuss using the contemporary research 3 interventions (1 must be solely nurse initiated, a maximum of 1 can be related to a pharmacological intervention and a maximum of 1 can be a collaborative intervention) that directly addresses the priority problem that was outlined. The discussion associated with each of the interventions should refer to relevant clinical assessment and measurable outcomes parameters to justify the intervention and evaluate its efficacy using the contemporary research.
