"People should not lose sight of all that the student movements of the 60's accomplished. They were instrumental in tearing down Jim Crow Racial segregation. They limited America's ability to pursue a blatantly imperialistic foreign policy that led to Vietnam. They helped to usher in the Women's Liberation movement. American society was profoundly changed by the student protest movements of the 1960's."
