According to the Job Characteristics Model, jobs are designed with 5 elements in mind. The design of a job can impact how it is compensated. How a job is compensated can impact the production process.
• Research the Job Characteristics Model. Discuss the model and the five elements of the model.
• Discuss how you plan to compensate a job that is mostly based on task variety, and then another job that is costly based on task autonomy, and then another job that is based on skill variety.
