A satellite is built based on the payload(s) type that you are going to fly. Assuming your communication satellite will use high power TWTA transponders feeding a large, high gain antenna pointed at the large antennas on the ground, discuss the following:
1. The merits of a dual-spin design with body-fixed solar arrays vs. a 3-axis stabilized spacecraft bus with deployed arrays.
2. The effect on the thermal control system of the high power TWTA dissipating up to 10kW of heat.
3. The pointing requirements on the ADCS to maintain antenna pointing.
4. The requirements on the propulsion system for stationkeeping.
