Discussion Post: Sociological Journal and Observations
Throughout the class students will be expected to apply concepts from the course to their lives based on the guiding questions below. The purpose of this exercise is to encourage students to examine the role of social stratification in their lives. Each student is required to complete (1-or 1 and half pages each, typed).
• Describe your experience with medical or mental health professionals. How do you think this has been influenced by your class, race, sex, and/or sexual orientation?
• Discuss the meaning of work for males and females in this society. What are the mental health effects of unemployment for males and females?
The response should include a reference list. One-inch margins, Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space and APA style of writing and citations.
