Northern City is building a new 30,000-seat, multipurpose facility near the downtown area. The facility is owned and operated by the Northern City Sports Development Board. The arena will be the home of the University of Northern City’s men and women’s basketball teams. The schedule for completion is October 1, 2017. Southern University hosts an invitational basketball tournament in December each year and usually plays at its home stadium in Southville.
Prioritize and discuss the major issues that would need to be included in a contract between Southern University and the Northern City Sports Development Board for use of the new arena for the 2017 Southern Invitational.
