Instructions
For this paper, I'd like you to focus on Farmer Chapter. More specifically, you will need to explain and apply the Liberation Theology methodology to a specific case study. So, first explain the 3-step methodology. Then, select at least one of the stories of people/patients that Farmer presents in either chapter (Sergei), 6 (Brenda and Sanoit) or 8 (Tuskegee and Uganda) and apply the methodology. Imagine you were the medical practitioner faced with any of these cases, how would you respond to these people's health problems after analyzing the situation through the application of observe, judge and act. Farmer shows you how he does it -use it as a guideline.
Note: This is how should you format your paper:
1. Give a title to your paper (i.e. "Week One Paper"; "Understanding Global Health..."; ext.)
2. Length: 2-page long, not including List of References, which you need to add at the end (see syllabus for more details).
3. Double-space text with Times New Roman font size 12.
4. Personal Details: ALWAYS include your full name and student number in your weekly papers.
5. Remember to demonstrate that you have carefully and thoroughly done the required readings. ALWAYS acknowledge your sources in-text AND in the List of References at the end (see syllabus for more detail).
