Needs assessment should be performed on three levels: strategic/organization, task and person. In this week's Assignment, you will complete all three with a focus on task for your employee orientation program. The two Discussion topics for this unit will address the need assessment levels of strategic/organization and person. The strategic/organization level of need assessment focuses on an organization's' goals and how effective it is in accomplishing those organizational goals. Our authors suggest seven questions to ask during an organizational analysis on page 116. Which of these do you think would be most useful and why?
