Discuss the legal grounds for the various civil claims

Assignment task: On his way from the Calgary International Airport, Steve Rogers drove his funky Fiat sports car through a red light at Barlow Trail and McKnight Boulevard NE and wreaked a specialized lobster delivery truck owned by Atlas Lobster Hauling Ltd. being driven by Diana Prince.

Diana was performing her assigned duties - delivering live lobsters that had been ordered and shipped by air from Digby, Nova Scotia, for Clawfish Lobstorium Inc. The crash spilled live lobsters all over the road. There were no injuries to people, but, tragically, most of the lobsters died at the scene.

A few lucky lobsters managed to crawl away and escape the carnage. Some were later found wandering around inside a nearby Jim Norton's donut shop. This frightened donut-stuffed patrons who had trouble outrunning the crustaceans (lobsters). The city food inspector said none of the lobsters (squished or live) could be used for human consumption because the squished ones were dirty and the live ones had been emotionally stressed - a condition well known to ruin lobster quality. Consequently, Clawfish could not use any of the fresh lobster shipment.

The lobsters had been ordered for use at the opening of the new "Clawfish Lobstorium - eat all you can grab" location. The crustacean carnage ruined its grand opening.

Use case analysis format to discuss the legal grounds for the various civil claims that could arise from this incident and the defenses that could be used. Include a brief discussion of liability to Jim Norton's donut shop and/or its customers.

Hint: Sort out the parties. Decide liability between them all - who can sue whom - and on what grounds and what defenses can be used. Stick to the facts as presented. Avoid speculation. For example, why Steve drove through the red light and exactly how the lobsters were contained in the truck is too much detail for this question.
